Looking back I'm amazed that I had the patience to put everything together into something playable. Everything about the hack was, to be honest. I don't remember the details, but it was a constant struggle. In the end, I repointed the destination of some trainer classes to another bank, but still in the exact same location so that I could make the changes with the Trainer editor tool in another ROM, then port the changes to the actaul ROM. I don't remember the details but I do remember the constant struggle looking at the end of the bank with a hex editor everytime to see how many bytes I had left. Luckily for me I had long decided that I wanted to remove trainer roster names a la RBY (except for the main trainers), so that made up some space, but it still wasn't enough. When I made Pyrite without the disassembly some years ago I remember I ran into the same issue with that tool.
